Superfoods

Superfoods

Superfoods is a marketing term. It is used to describe the benefits of a specific food.Some people refer it as non-medical term. Superfoods reduces the risks of diseases and improve physical and mental health. Superfoods are high in antioxidants, minerals and vitamins.


There are four categories of superfoods.

1. Green Superfoods: Green superfoods have high amount of fat reducing ingredients, minerals, vitamins. Green superfoods are easily digestible. These superfoods help to build tissues and muscles that protect us against illness.

2. Bee Superfoods: Bee pollen, royal jelly and propolis are bee superfoods. Royal jelly is high in Vitamin B5 that is essential for healthy hair and skin. Bee pollen is very helpful for athletes. It is also helpful for fighting against sinusitis. It fights against the sign of age. Both physical and mental health are increased by bee pollen. Propolis fights against those virus where antibiotic can do nothing. Propolis strengthen our immune system. It reduces coughing and cold.

3. Fruit and Nut Superfoods: Coconuts, noni, coconut oil, acai, maca, goji berries and raw cacao are called as fruit and nut superfoods. They are a very good source of Vitamin A, B1, B2, B6, magnesium and iron. These act as a very high antioxidants. They help to gain energy, support fertility, and promote sexual desire and strengthen immune system.


4. Seaweed Superfoods: Arame, kelp, dulse, nori, Kombu and wakame are the examples of seaweed superfoods. These superfoods boost weight loss, contain antioxidants, high in calcium. It purifies our blood. It has powerful chelating properties. It also alkalize our blood.
